AWS Discontinues Services like CodeCommit, CloudSearch, Cloud9, CloudStar, Quantum Ledger Database and more

AWS is provides Infrastructure, Database, Storage, Serverless, Machine Learning and lot more as a services across various product categories. It makes developer life easy. Companies need not to worry about installing and managing the software. AWS does it for you. AWS provides a developer friendly API and provides services to the developers.
AWS is planning to discontinue few of the services and provides a plan to migrate to its own competitors.
AWS CodeCommit
AWS CodeCommit is a git based version control service. User can version control their documents, source code, and binary files in the cloud. There are not many users for this service. Github, Gitlab and Bitbucket has major market share and AWS CodeCommit is not able to get more users. AWS is not accepting new customers but planning to provide service to existing customers. They have also provided a plan to migrate to its competitors Github, Gitlab and Bitbucket.
AWS Cloud9
AWS Cloud9 is a cloud based integrated development environment (IDE) that lets users write, run and debug code. AWS is suggesting to migrate to its own services AWS IDE Toolkits or AWS CloudShell. AWS IDE Toolkits are a set of open-source plugins that integrate AWS services directly into popular IDEs like Visual Studio Code, IntelliJ, and PyCharm. AWS CloudShell is a browser-based shell available directly in the AWS Management Console that provides a pre-authenticated and pre-configured environment for running interacting with AWS resources.
AWS CloudStar
AWS CodeStar provides a unified user interface, enabling you to easily manage your software development activities in one place. It helps users to develop, build, and deploy applications on AWS.
AWS CloudSearch
AWS CloudSearch is a cloud service that helps to manage and scale a search solution for your website or application. It provides support for highlighting, autocomplete, and geospatial search for websites. Users can switch to Algolia or Typesense.
AWS Quantum Ledger Database
AWS QLDB is a fully managed ledger database that provides a transparent, immutable, and cryptographically verifiable transaction log. It tracks and maintains a sequenced history of every application data change using an immutable and transparent journal. AWS is recommending QLDB users to migrate to Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL.
AWS also discontinuing other services like Snowmobile, Workdocs, Opswork, MobileHub, FinSpace, IoT 1-Click, Aurora Serverless, Application Cost Profiler.
